This superior selection has beautiful white flowers that arrive after the native dogwood, usually starting in June, and often lasting over a month. Very pretty raspberry like fruit follow. Fall color is a lovely wine red to purple. It has a fast growing, upright to vase shaped habit, with horizontal branching as it ages; generally reaching 12 to 20 feet. Very hardy, can be grown where the native species isn't quite hardy. With age the bark develops beautiful mottling.
