A husky woodland plant of great beauty. Leaves zigzag up and down arching, 18 inch stems which are topped by feathery, spirea-like FRAGRANT flower plumes in June. The pointed leaves are 3 inches long. Another show begins in fall when transluscent red berries ripen.
This is nice in woodlands, perennial gardens and to attract butterflies.
